What’s an Interior Stylist and is that like an Interior designer?

Interior Design is the “Big” picture; Interior Styling is part of that ‘Big’ picture.

As an Interior Stylist I focus more on the details of a space. While I certainly take in the “big picture,” I also deal with details that an Interior Designer doesn’t always have the time to do.

As a stylist, once I have assessed the space and discussed my client’s goals, I assist my client in defining their own aesthetic, or their own vision. If my client doesn’t have a specific style, we will discuss ideas and make the perfect plan.

I research, and present furnishing and other product ideas. All while keeping my client on track, so their final design is cohesive and expresses their own individual style.

I plan and assist with placement of furniture, rugs, window treatments, lighting, as well, placement of Objects D’art. I style bookshelves and other surfaces so your view is most pleasing and finding what you need, is most efficient.

HomeStaging

People generally think of a Home Stager as a company that comes in with a big truck, a big price tag and furnishes your home. And yes, there are many companies that do that. I, however, do not come with a truck, or the price tag.

In an effort to save my clients money when they are putting their home on the market, I use what you already have in your home. I organize your home, closets, and anywhere a prospective buyer might be especially interested in viewing.

I remove as many personal items from surfaces so the buyer can better visualize themselves in the space. When necessary I rearrange furniture in an effort to create a better flow. And style all surfaces for the best presentation possible.

As a Home Stager generally working with a Realtor, my staging projects have all sold within one week or less. While the Realtors I’ve worked with have all been top notch, I humbly take some credit for making these homes smartly dressed for any potential buyer.

PersonalConcierge

As a Personal Concierge I can assist you in many different areas.

Are you from out of town and need an assistant? Preparing for a special event; and looking for a Make-up artist, stylists, hair? I can make arrangements for you.
